Upgrading to a Better Coffee Maker

My old coffee maker that I’ve had since my days in college broke. I turned it on one morning to make some coffee for a quick pick me up, but nothing happened. The water didn’t heat up, the lights didn’t come on, and nothing dripped through the filter. I had to make my coffee the old fashioned way that morning. Boiling water and pouring it through a filter is such a tedious thing to do. I went to the Cuppabean website later that day to look for a new machine that would be a worthy replacement for my old one.

I was used to the simple old drip machine that was my old machine, but after looking at the website, I became more interested in the Nespresso machines they have. The idea of being able to make various styles of coffee with pods was an appealing idea, because it make the simple task of making coffee with a machine even simpler. Rather than loading grounds into the filter, I could just pop a pod into the machine, press a button, and the coffee would be done quickly. I could also fill a pod with coffee grounds, but I liked the pre-filled option better.

After buying my new machine, I fired it up one morning, put in one of the pods that I purchased, and made myself a hot cup of coffee. It was a pretty good cup and got my eyes open that morning. Over the next few days, I switched things up by trying out some of the other pods that had different flavors. This machine is probably one of the best things that has ever been invented. In a way, I’m glad that my old coffee maker stopped working, because now I have something better to replace it.
