Why I Upgraded My Smaller Power Inverter

Saturday, August 18th, 2018

I have a 100 watt inverter I keep in the center console of our car. I used it to plug laptop chargers and other small things into. When I got my truck, I wanted more inverter power to run some bigger things. I bought a 1000 watt inverter to hook up to the electrical system of my truck. I like it a lot. I can plug in a lot more than just small things now. I have a battery system that will not run down too low to start the vehicle, so I do not have to worry about that. I run LED lights at our campsites and other things such as a small refrigerator and small appliances on that 1000 watt power inverter. (more…)

Cake from an Unlikely Place

Saturday, August 18th, 2018

Earlier in the week, I learned about the Instant Pot cheesecake recipe. The idea of a cake being made in a pot was a foreign concept to me, but I guess anything is possible. I had to try it out for myself to see if it would really work, so I bought some ingredients to make a strawberry cheesecake right in the pot. I also invited some of my friends over to have a tasting with me. I told them to bring some wine as well so we could really make it into a wine and cheesecake party.

Making the cake wasn’t hard, as the pot did most of the work. All I had to do was simply mix the ingredients and put it in the pot and set the cooking time. My friends and I drank some wine to pass the time while the cake was cooking. (more…)

My Taxes Are Being Done Properly

Friday, August 17th, 2018

I have been doing tax returns for more years than I can count. I had my first job when I was 16, and I started preparing them then. It was easy enough to do since it was just a minimum wage job, but it did get more complicated when I started subcontracting. Thankfully, around that time is when tax software for preparers became available online. I knew that I could pay someone to do my taxes for me, and I had honestly considered that option for a while. There are a lot of advantages to having someone else do it, but then there are the disadvantages too.

I know my business better than anyone else, and there are aspects of it that I do like to keep private. (more…)

A New Look Based on Lola

Friday, August 17th, 2018

My cat Lola is a very important part of my life. Before I met her, I was very depressed. I had recently suffered a painful change in my life. I was really down in the dumps. I found a kitten in the animal shelter. He was lonely and sad. I could tell he wanted to find a home that he could call his own. Something told me to adopt her and I did. I named her Lola. She was so happy when I took her home. Recently, I decided to get custom cat socks with Lola’s picture on them. They were a good addition to my personal collection.

I met Lola four years ago. I was depressed after a traumatic loss in my life. I decided that I was tired of being sad and decided to do something to take my mind of my pain. I decided to volunteer at a local animal shelter to take my mind for the heartache I was experiencing at the time. (more…)

Buying Sweet Vaping Juices Online

Friday, August 17th, 2018

I smoked for nearly three decades. I had been told by several doctors to quit smoking, and even my own children appealed to me to just stop the nasty habit. While I do care about my health, and I love my children more than anything, nicotine had a strong hold over my life. I just was not able to quit. However, when I became a grandfather and my granddaughter had respiratory issues, I knew that it was time. Something that made it easier was vaping, and finding CBD vape oil for sale so I was not spending a fortune on the nicotine replacement. (more…)
